Over the course of the week, your client projects will consist of:
Hone your ability to conduct structured research and communicate your findings in a clear, business-friendly way. Whether you’re exploring a new compliance framework, assessing an emerging threat landscape, evaluating a technology trend, or reviewing sector-specific regulations, your ability to distill key insights into a concise and well-tailored readout for our teams and client stakeholders will be foundational to your success. With a critical eye, you’ll evaluate sources, identify what matters most, and organize your insights into articulate, decision-ready narratives.
Manage your projects and time effectively by creating clear, actionable plans anchored in our contractual obligations. A strong project plan clarifies scope, defines key milestones, and guides day-to-day execution. You’ll break work into manageable tasks, estimate timelines, and coordinate with your team on roles and responsibilities. Just as important is how you’ll manage your own time staying organized, setting priorities, and making progress even while juggling competing demands. When done well, project and time management not only keep work on track but also build confidence, trust, and dependability with your teams and clients.
Refine your interviewing skills to draw out meaningful insights, foster trust, and elevate the quality of your team’s work. Strong interviews are built on thoughtful preparation, active listening, and intentional follow-through. You’ll focus on prep- understanding the context, aligning on objectives, and tailoring your approach to the audience, and then distill key takeaways, communicate findings clearly, and identify next steps that move the work forward. Effective interviewing is more than a conversation, it’s a skill that strengthens relationships and directly contributes to impactful outcomes.
Refine your skills to deliver focused, executive-ready status updates by practicing how to communicate progress, surface key insights, and receive direction in real time. You’ll prepare a status report with a partner- an opportunity to strengthen how you frame updates, highlight what matters most, and articulate risks, issues, and asks with clarity. In addition to providing the update, the focus is on receiving feedback, engaging in a respectful and direct conversation, and using that to align on next steps. Sharpening this skill will help you drive engagement, demonstrate ownership, and contribute to a culture of transparency and forward momentum.
